Agile Robots, a leading global unicorn in intelligent robotics, announced a strategic investment in Idealworks, a subsidiary of BMW Group, becoming its controlling shareholder.


Idealworks was founded in 2020 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BMW incubated by the BMW Group Innovation Lab. Since its establishment, the company has provided BMW Group with comprehensive intelligent solutions for industrial logistics scenarios, covering all components of robots and their related ecosystems. The core team of idealworks has served the BMW Group for over 10 years and has extensive experience in the development and commercialization of automation and logistics technology.


Idealworks' product portfolio includes the intelligent automation platform AnyFleet, autonomous mobile robot (AMR) iw.Hub, and mobile robot operating system iw.os. Sordi, in which the company participated in the development The AI industrial database integrates over 200000 open-source industrial data images and is currently the world's largest and most comprehensive synthetic database for industrial scenarios.
